For the final performance of 'One', I want elements of the original costume designs to come through with a respect to the greatness of the original production of the musical in 1975.
Therefore I have kept the gold as a theme and dressed the female dancers in a low v neck cut slightly sparkly jacket that is overall white with a glittering of sequins and pearly iridescent like beads merging into the gold to match the art deco style collar and flow into a gold ra-ra type fluffy skirt that will be full of shimmer from gold and iridescent sequins and beads. The girls will also be wearing nude tights with a stripe of glitter down both legs to mirror the detail on the boys costume trousers, this is finished off with a pair of gold character shoes and a satin gold top hat.
